Leah’s Vase now available to download and print

A long while back Leah, a family friend, asked me to design and print her a vase that would look good even if it didn’t have flowers in. After some nagging I eventually got around to it. Glad I did as it’s been a fun project.

The vase can be printed without supports. The one in the video was printed in PLA , with 0.15mm layer heights. To use the water tube, fill with water and then lower the vase over it… add flower 🙂

With some flowers the vase is a bit top heavy. I’ve included a 3D printed mold pattern for sand casting a lead weight to fit in the base of the water tube.
